DETAILS
With over one-third of the EU budget implemented at regional level, regions play a key role in delivering EU priorities and shaping citizens’ trust in the EU. As negotiations on the next Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF) unfold, this event explores the connection between the EU budget, democratic oversight in the regions, and how EU funding can support transparent and accountable governance on the ground.
This event is part of an ongoing series of conversations on the EU’s Multiannual Financial Framework and builds on the previous discussion “What is Democracy Worth?” held on 15 May 2025, featuring MEP Raquel Garcia Hermida-van der Walle, MEP René Repasi and MEP Brando Benifei.
The event will be held in a hybrid format. The connection link will be shared with registered participants ahead of the event. For more information on the agenda, please visit the event website using the registration link below.
