Many of you have already experienced it: Campaigning for direct democracy is not an easy undertaking, obstacles are plenty. Alliance building, timing and persuasion are just some of the ingredients for a successful campaign that most activists have already come across. To make advocating for direct and participatory democracy more effective and efficient, in this workshop, we are gathering experienced campaigners from around the world. After a short introduction to their work and their main take-aways from year-long campaigning, we will then open the floor for your questions and input to identify best practices for direct democracy activists around the world.
