The Inclusiveness of Democracy and Participatory Innovations (online)

Liberal democracies are based on the promise that all citizens have equal rights to participate and to realise their full potential. Nevertheless, this promise isn’t met in many societies due to patterns of exclusion and imbalanced power structures. Together with you, we want to tackle marginalisation and explore ways to design inclusive societies that allow and encourage the equal participation of all citizens. We will collect your ideas and visions for Europe's future in that field, publish them on the digital platform of the Conference on the Future of Europe, and also hand them over to European decision-makers.
