Democracy Camp 2026 Bulgaria

The Democracy Camp is an five-day intercultural ERASMUS+ youth exchange on democracy, media and inclusion which connects over 70 young people, aged 16 to 26 years old, residing in either Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, France, Germany, Greece, Romania, or Ukraine. The Camp's main aims are to inform young Europeans about their role in our democratic society and directly involve them in the policy-making process of the EU through the creation and dissemination of the Youth Participation Handbook.

From 26 to 30 August, we will explore two guiding questions: What participation tools are available to me? And, how can I use these tools to foster an inclusive and fair media future in Europe? We will identify a wide variety of democratic best practices related to media and inclusion not only in Bulgaria, but on an international scale. In addition, we will help advance your skills and competences relevant to political participation and running successful projects in the future.
