  • Borders are closed (Entry only exceptional and incl. 14-Day quarantine)
  • Personal travel is only permitted within territorial authority and for essential personal movement
  • Travel between regions is restricted
  • From 14 May, gathering restrictions and most severe lockdown measures have been lifted. Borders remain closed
8 June:
  • As of June 8, New Zealand moved to Alert Level 1. Ther are no restriction to work, school, sports and domestic travel, and social gatherings
  • Foreign travellers are still be required to quarantine for 14 days

  • Next planned session will start on April 28, 2020
  • Elections on September 19 will take place
