Breaking the silence on inequality

Colombia

Re Imaginemos is a project that fosters dialogue, collaboration, and action among academics, artists, activists, the government, businesses, and communities to rethink inequality in Colombia.

By facilitating open discussions and engaging with arts and cultural sectors, it highlights issues of income, gender, political, and other forms of inequality. With a network of over 300 academics, artists, and activists, the project has published over 60 investigative articles and coordinated more than 400 intersectional discussion groups.

Committed to inclusive dialogue, Re Imaginemos amplifies the voices of marginalised individuals and encourages citizens to reimagine solutions for a more equitable society. The project also launched an exhibition at Colombia’s Peace, Historic Memory, and Reconciliation Center, and its research has been published in 32 Colombian newspapers.
