De Weesper Vereniging voor Meervoudige Democratie

The Weesper Vereniging organises citizen participation independently from the municipality of Amsterdam. Weesp is a small city of 20.000 that is part of the municipality of Amsterdam. We do research together with our members into what are the main problems in our community and we try to find common ground on solutions. We then offer those solutions to the representatives in our city council. We also experiment a lot with online participatory tools, like Consul and Pol.is.
