Capital Youth Assembly empowers Ankara's youth (ages 15-30) to engage in local governance and community development, It organizes workshops and training on leadership, project management, and civic engagement to build youth capacities. BYA facilitates direct dialogue with local officials, ensuring youth voices in decision-making. It also supports community projects addressing local issues, promoting active and inclusive participation.

HISTORY
Capital Youth Assembly brings together 15-30-year-olds in Ankara to address local issues through participatory methods, empowering youth in all life aspects. Apolitical and inclusive, it embraces diversity in religion, language, ideology, and political identity. Established without decision-making mechanisms, it was formed through collective efforts between youth and the Ankara City Council based on youth demands.

- 19 May Special Youth SessionWe came together with nearly 200 young people at the ABB Metropolitan Assembly Hall, the heart of the Ankara Administration, and conveyed our demands to the decision-making mechanisms.
- Model Başkent - Local Diplomacy SimulationWe came together with 300 young delegates who are experts in their fields in Ankara and simulated the Ankara Metropolian Municiplaity Assembly, the largest Local Assembly in Turkey.
