Group of the European Youth for Change - GEYC is a Romanian youth organization founded in 2010 active at the European level. GEYC is the initiator and coordinating organization of PRISMA European Network, a European wide coalition aimed to raise the quality of youth projects. Our mission is to empower young people to create a positive change in their community.

HISTORY

In 2010, GEYC started as one of the first digital communities in Europe, and now has over 8,000 members in Romania: young people, youth workers and teachers. Our goal is to generate change by actively turning ideas into action. In the last 10 years we have worked together with over 200 youth organizations in Europe and over 10,000 Romanians.

LATEST PROJECTS

  • European Digital Youth Summit (EDYS)
    EDYS is a biennial multi-stakeholder event taking place since 2014, aiming to bring together representatives of organizations, companies, media, academia and young people, in order to discuss topics related to democracy and digital transformation.
