I am a researcher from the Levant/Mashriq ecoregion, currently completing my PhD in Cultural Analysis/Cinema Studies at the University of Zurich. I host the podcast "The Fire These Times" and I'm an editor at Shado Mag. I am a research associate at the Lebanon-based Centre for Social Sciences Research and Action and a board member of the Sierra Leone- and Lebanon-based Domestic Workers Advocacy Network. I will also soon start as a fellow of the Post Growth Institute.
